John....I agree. Even in the Boston area it was too darn hot to ride without a/c....or slip under the car for just a bad u-joint. At least the Spit was good for a couple of drives but still not enough to wear in the rebuilt engine. So you think it's tough climbing out of a TR6....try a Spitfire!
