I have the Addco set, front and rear, that TRF sells, I didn't drive the car very much before I installed the bars, but I do remember it was very much a pig (I don't think the TR250 even had a front bar standard, or at least mine didn't when I got it) and the bars really transformed the handling. I would describe the handling as pretty balanced, I can get understeer or or oversteer depending on how I turn in and apply throttle when driving close to the limit around the cones, when I am on the street driving with a little less enthusiasm, but still pushing it, it corners flat, feels neutral, and puts the power down great out of the tight corners.

Subject: [6pack] Rear ADDCO sway ber
I added a rear sway bar to my TR6 MANY years ago. I upgraded the front bar at
the same time. I was autocrossing the car quite a bit at the time and found that
the change in sway bars made the car go from understeer to oversteer which I
much preferred - I find it easier to correct a skid than to have nothing happen
when you turn the wheel. And, as they say, "Understeer scares the driver,
oversteer scares the passenger".
