[6pack] Bumpers & Gas tanks

Hello.
My original gas tank was (prior to removing) been emitting rust into the fuel
filter.there doesn't seem to be any leaks, and I am wondering if I look for a
place to repair it or just buy an after market.
Also, my front bumper (original) is dullI read about people bringing back the
shine because it is steelor do I need to get it re-chromed?
Any suggestions for either?

If you are curious of the location for workit can be either Portland OR or
Frederick MD.you see I am about to head back across countryin my 4runner from
OR to MDrent a trailer from haul and bring my baby out to me in OR. :-) I
decided I didn't want to trust shippers out thereand I may as well haul it
myself. (hope I don't regret it).
