  HI, all.

I had hoped to let this die quietly, to avoid embarrassment . . . .

apparently the flywheel has knobs on it, that must fit into receivers on the
engine side.  apparently it is possible to think it is installed right but in
fact one or more of these knobs are not in their respective hole.

that causes everything to be off kilter and make life frustrating and
difficult.

let's just say I think I've learned from the experience . . .
