[6pack] no weld body repair

I need to repair the battery tray in my TR6. It has rusted through. I came
across this kit at eastwood. 

 

Since I don't weld, and this isn't a critical panel (cosmetically) I thought
I might try it. Does anyone have experience or thoughts about this type of
thing?
