[6pack] OD Tranny Leak Question

Is there any magic beyond a new gasket to stopping leaks from the
rectangular cover plate that covers the metal screen filter on the OD.  I
have a relatively new gasket and just removed the plate to inspect and clean
the filter during an oil change.  Red Line MT-90 is now  in the box but the
car is still on jack stands so I can't give a review yet.
