Hereâ??s a question for the Triumph experts as Iâ??m not an engine guyâ?¦ Adjusted the valves in my 76 TR6. Prior to adjustment they were all over the place ranging from .008 to .012 or a little more. Now all are at spec of .01 and have run through a few times to confirm. Prior to adjustment cold compression ranged from 105 to 115 averaging around 110. After adjustment two cylinders are a little over 115 with remaining around 120. My question isâ?¦can setting valves to spec result in better compression?
