VAA Tragedy

Two non- VARA members died last weekend during a fund raiser noon time drive
around sponsored by VARA. They were wearing lap belts and helmets when they
rolled at Button Willow.

Then, as if that's not enough of a problem, a VARA member went out on the
track the next night on a Go-Ped and fell, fracturing his skull. He was air
lifted out.

These drive around fatalities will have obvious repercussions throughout
vintage racing and the insurance industry.
