A new page of USRRC sports car racing photos has been added to the
Meadowdale International Raceway tribute website
www.meadowdaleraceway.homestead.com. They are from the 1964 visit of the
series, the only time the USRRC circus went to Meadowdale.

The Carpentersville, Illinois, track operated from 1958 to 1969. It was a
3.27 mile road course with a steeply banked 180 degree turn called The Monza
Wall leading onto a 4,000 foot front straight.

The website includes event photos from 1958 through 1968, as well as current
pictures and instructions for visiting the facility, which is now partially a
nature preserve.
