Auto racing requires an "SA" helmet - Special Application. As far as I can
determine it mostly means a nomex lining instead of one made of  cotton or
other fabric. Motorcycle helmets can meet the same Snell 2000 crash specs,
and have the appropriate sticker (at extra cost) but lack the nomex liner
and SA sticker.
