Jack,

The Kirkey Economy Drag seat was installed in my car when I bought it, and
that 200 layback put my legs way too close to the pedals. I opted for the
Kirkey Road Race seat with 00 layback. I find the leg support to be very
nice. With the seat installed in it's rearmost possible location touching a
vertical bar of the rollbar, the pedals are perfect. I like those side
wings, they keep me right where I want to be. I've heard complaints about
those wings from several people, and the best I can remember all the
complaints come from those people who do not sport excess ballast... You
might find your elbows hitting the wings.

I, like Nick in Nor Cal bought the wide pan version to fit my not-so-dainty
posterior. I went to one of those racer shows at the local civic center
where a vendor had a line of all the Kirkey seat sizes set up, and I sat in
each until I found the right fit. I then ordered my seat from Racer Wholesale.

Keep in mind a seat that will fit you perfectly will not fit Tony. The best
solution I have heard for that solution is to buy the seat to fit Tony's
larger proportions, (sorry Tony!) and Tony uses the seat cover that comes
with the seat. Then, buy a second seat cover, and place additional dense
foam padding in the right places so your body is a tight fit in the seat.
Naturally, you will switch seat covers with each driver switch.
