Don and all: In the latest issue of Sports Car (from SCCA), there's an article about the "ghost tracks" of the past for SCCA. Among them are SIR (which was then known as Pacific Raceway, or something like that). In the article, they essentially said that other than a few drag races and vintage events, the track was history as it would not comply with current safety standards for SCCA events. Myles H.
