What's the future for SIR ?

I just got this e-mail from a friend.

    The following is what I received from the raceway....in the last (Fall
2000) news letter, there was an editorial by the President saying that he's
been there 25 years in 2001, and that his...... "lease with the landowners
and my contract with the NHRA expire at the same time"........and......."The
July 27-29, 2001 event will be my last drag race at SIR and a big celebration
is in the planning stages."
