 Listers,

I hope the Sprite/Midget people on the list can help me with a question. I
have a '66 Sprite I bought with a 1100 engine. I notice that even though the
car/engine has a mechanical oil pressure light, there is an electrical
connection on the oil filter. The 1100 has a cracked block (I knew this when
I bought the car). I picked up a 1275 from a Midget and it too has a
mechanical oil pressure tube and the same oil filter electrical connection.
I looked on the wiring diagram and I notice something called an oil fiter
warning light. Can someone clue me in as to what this is?

I know the Series A engine was used in many applications. Was this just a
connection for an electrical engine oil pressure warning light or what?
