Hi Doug.
I am afraid that your are correct in your annalysis.  There are those who 
would win at all cost and those who are happy to participate.  Perhaps they 
should be in different clubs.  It is just human nature to want to win and a 
lot of folks have trouble keeping that in check, hence the carnage that you 
are all too well aware of.
Hows the sports racer coming along?
