I'm going to replace my hand held extinguisher w a fire system, but
noticed the price of the "systems" is alot more than just the
extinguisher. Does anyone know if the standard Halon fire extinguisher
is essentially the "same thing" as the fire bottle systems except that
there's a pull pin instead of a handle squeeze pin?
I've seen a fire bottle rigged up to use a cable which squeezes the
standard handles together to actuate the system with the usual tubing
attached to the dispersing nozzles, but didn't know if this is "kosher".
