The LeMans car was aluminum-bodied (I believe), and was the prototype for
the GT6.  It didn't have the hump on the bonnet needed for the longer
six-cylinder used in the GT6, otherwise it looked just like a GT6 with a
Spit engine.   That car showed up for practice sessions last year at Pocono
before heading to Monterey.

Group 44's GT6 is still around.  It ran in the MG-Triumph Challenge at
Mid-Ohio this year.  I'm not sure who owns it now.  Sam White had owned it.
Rumor has it that it sold for around $30k.
