This thread also reminds me that there is an excellent book out at the moment in
the UK called 'Into the Red' which is 21 track tests of Nick Mason's cars (ex
Pink
Floyd). It has the story of the cars, how and why he bought them, what he
thinks
about them. It has a test on each by Mark Hales who is a journalist and racer.
It
has tables of comparative performance figures and prices. Best of all it has an
audio CD. Its not expensive and I think published by Virgin - make sure Santa
knows where to look for a copy. My own copy is on the way - I've also been
buying
copies for every impressionable child I can think of!!
