The Sixth Annual Passport Pinewood Derby is only weeks away!!!
Hopefully, many of you going to the SVRA Road Atlanta event are working hard
on your race cars, your pinewood derby race cars that is!!!
This race brings out the true competitors of vintage racing (most under 10
years of age) and wonderful displays of craftsmanship and creativity.
Sunday, October 19 during quiet time (10am-noon), this historic event will
once again take place for little trophies but big egos! To be the overall
winner of the Passport Pinewood Derby is quite an accomplishment!!
So start carving, whittling and painting now (if you have not already
started).
Pinewood derby kits can be purchased at your local boy scout supplier or boy
scout headquarters.
