Simon:
The Canton/Mecca filter is a great product. I know the guy who invented
it and we have been using them off and on for years. Expensive,
comparatively, but worth it. Easy to install and maintain. Very much
like airplane part! The test data shows lots more filtration performance
than standard filters.

That's what I thought. That's also why I have a mechanical oil
pressure gauge plumbed using SS braided line. Brake line material
was actually cheaper than Aeroquip. The HP1 also filters better.
I just found out that Canton Mecca also makes a spin-on with a
replaceable element. It's probably no smaller than the HP1 tho.
