The fellow who is one of the principals in Charcoal King (used to sponsor a
Trans-Am car) has a 1953 VW vintage racer, powered by a 1600 Porsche 356
motor. I have seen it only once, at Road Atlanta a few years ago.
Beautifully done, painted bright yellow, but not quite sorted. Interesting
car. Split window, with traficators (removed for racing)...that could
distract the opposition.
