One of our "secrets" around Laguna Seca is staying at the Laurel Inn
in Salinas. Used to be that they didn't even seem aware of the
big events going on in Monterey, and rooms were plentiful and
as cheap as the rest of the year. Those days are gone, but
it's still a better deal than Monterey proper.
