I can't tell from your description where your water is going wrong, but
I do have a thought on your message:

PLEASE don't take this as a criticism, but you have made one MAJOR
mistake! If you take your engine or any other component apart to search
for an un-diagnosed flaw, you either destroy the evidence or you stand
the chance of having to do the tear-down twice. If you can't find the
location of your leak, you'll have to put things back together to see if
you've "fixed" it. Unless you found something specific you can blame it
on, you take the chance that the end of the leak was coincidental and
temporary. At the very least you should try to localize the problem to a
particular cylinder or area of the engine by using a pressure tester,
shorting the plug wires, or whatever. Now that you have the head off,
you can't do that.  Best of luck regardless and hope you found
