Subject: Weber jets
Would anyone have some ideas about the jetting of a Ford 105E engine,
997cc3 fitted with two 40 DCOE carbs.
I have tried 30 chokes with 120 main jets, 180 or 200 air jets and 30
accelerator jets.
This gives a huge black hole under 4000rpm in third and fourth, and thing
got better with 115 main jets. Before buying a lot of other jets I would
like to hear from anybody with some knowledge of these engines. Apart from
the Weber and an aluminium Aquaplane head, it is quite standard with, I
guess, the original cam.
Thank you
