In addition to official word about the change for Monterey, the HMSA
letter gives their event schedule for 1997. Of note is the major change
in the date of the Wine Country Classic by almost a whole month!
March 8-9 Club Event Laguna Seca (Deadline: Feb. 21, 1997)
May 16-18 Chrysler Wine Country Classic Sears Point (Deadline: March 14)
Aug. 9-10 Pre-Historic Laguna Seca (Deadline: July 3)
Aug. 14-17 Chrysler Monterey Historic Laguna Seca (Deadline: April 4)
Nov. 8-9 Club Event Sears Point (Deadline: October 17)
The letter noted that Chrysler will be more involved in the Wine Country
Classic. Mollie Stone got bumped off top billing. ;=)
