it saved a lot of hassel at the race track when a starter failed. If puttin=
g the helicoil in the engine plate I would use fine thread, for the tranny =
case I would use course. The advantage of in the engine Plate, is you can r=
emove the tranny without removing the starter. Any thing to make a job easi=
