[TR] triumph/british related reading

I've recently become interested in the old rallys/endurance races in Europe
during the 50's and 60's, such as the mille miglia.....dakar......monte
carlo......ect.  Are there any good books written about those races, possibly
first person accounts, that anyone has read or are aware of?  Would not have
to be specifically triumph or british.

I'm thinking ahead to the non driving
winter time here in Iowa and love reading what the "old guys" from years ago
went through in these events.
