Hi,

Is there a test to make sure the emission control valve is working
correctly? What does it do if it isn't?

I have an 1980 Spitfire, but with dual SUs. So the ECV is like ones
from earlier cars that can be disassembled with the rubber diaphragm,
metal plate and spring.

Thanks,
Roger Elliott
