I plan on installing an alternator in my TR4, as my
generator can't keep up with the draw off from my electric
radiator fan.
I have been given a couple of Lucas Alternators to test and
hope to install one in my TR4.
Does anyone know if a Lucas alternator (with an output of
about 30amps)will have enough output for my setup.
The advantage of the lower output of the Lucas is that I
don't have to upgrade my wiring.
New alternators are quite costly in New Zealand.
