Marty,

Not familiar with 6 shocks. Do they have just the stem from the body or are 
they like regular shocks with the "cover"? If there is just a stem, see if 
you can get a vice grip on the stem through the spring. If they have that 
cover, grab the cover with a good set of channel locks. Either way it looks 
like the shock will have to be replaced.
