I was wondering the same thing, has anyone tried to put a thin fibre washer
behind the head when installing these?

list, with respect to the tr3 honnet dzus fastners, is they are way one can
prevent the paint from chipping due to the dzus fastners? i have noticed
that on many tr3's that after awhile the fastners rattle and causes the
paint to chip away?  larrry schwartz 1960 tr3-a
