Indeed.
If you are restoring or rehabbing an old car and there is a local marque club,
you'd be pretty foolish not to join. Just the ability to come up with a
similar car to LOOK at is worth the price of admission. When I was working on
my Lotus, having access to Terry Pitts' Lotus to measure was a lifesaver.
