In looking at Dan's wire diagram in his Maintenance Handbook, the only
Blue/Black wire I can find goes between seatbelt module and the LH Seatbelt
sensor switch. The diagram for the '76 didn't show that wire color but the
'75 diagram does. Other then that are you sure it's blue and not purple?
Purple/Black is used in the brake failure switch/light circuit.

i have a 76 tr6 and there is a blue and black wire comming out of the
harness near the horn relay and the starter relay don't know where it should
go can someone check their car and see where it goes
