Quick question on British threads. I have a Lucas lamp with a threaded stem
that I cannot match up. I need to get an acorn nut for the lamp stem. There is
a nut on it that will screw onto a 3/8" x 16 stud but stop just before the
stud comes through the nut. It will also screw onto a 3/8" x 24 thread but
stop with the stud half way through the nut. Is this enough to zero in on and
where are these available.
