Of course it would !  But not necessarily equally.

And the considerations for an airplane might just possibly be slightly
different, with several hundred hp being used to turn the fan.  Put that kind of
power into a TR fan and you'll likely solve your overheating problems ... if
only because there'll be no power left to move the car !
