Before you can powder-coat any parts exposed to constant oil or grease use you must pre-heat that part to remove the oil/grease from the pores, if not when you try to cure that part it will melt out of the pores and destroy the powder-coat, master cyclinders are a good example of this, new forged steel will also have the same effects.
