I have.  Wasn't a whole lot of fun either, and it cost me a TR3A.  Discovered
the problem going down a very steep hill into an underground parking garage with
no exit.  Didn't have a working handbrake either.

No, I don't say you should.  I'm just sharing why I switched, you should make
your own decision.  You're a big boy now, which means you get to make your own
mistakes.

PS, the TR3 I bought recently had been mechanically restored and left in primer
30 years ago, stored in a dry garage here in SoCA.  Not one spot of rust on the
car, even the original battery box is intact ... Except under the MC where the
seals rotted in storage and dripped DOT 3 on the primer.  That stuff is nasty !
