Hi Tony,
My understanding is that all TR4s had a dashboard mounted light switch, with
only one column mounted switch unless overdrive was fitted. The light switch
was moved to the column with the introduction of the TR4a. All of the column
mounted switchgear was very similar between the Heralds, Spitfires, GT6 etc
as they all used the same basic steering column. A non-flashing switch could
easily have been sourced from a Herald for instance.
Cheers,
Bill.
