I was under the impression that a brake caliper from a TR4 would fit a TR3.
It won't. At least, I think it won't fit! (I didn't try to actually mount
it)
You see, I would like to get a smaller caliper on my 60 TR3 because I
bought a different size wheel for my car, and although nothing seems to hit
anything, it comes close to rubbing. I've heard of grinding down the original
caliper slightly, but that would only be done as a very last resort.
It seems the TR4 calipers come withing a 1/4" of reaching the mounting holes
on the TR3. Has anyone else had my problem?
