burning beading questions

Hi,
How likely is it that if I bent some of the silver beading around the "wings"
that it will go relatively unnoticeable when I put the car back togather?

Where should I go to get some replacement 'beading anchors'?  (those metal
strips that hold the beading on?  Maybe they can be homemade too.)
