Paul, I think this question is backwards. The stock carbs are H6, HS6 were
only used on late TR4A. The HS6 carbs can be used on a TR3, but you'll want
the throttle linkage components from a TR4A, as the throttle shafts turn the
opposite direction, and the linkage connects between the carbs instead of at
the front. ISTR you'll also need to do something creative with the choke
linkage.
