I found the little screws.

As a follow up to my earlier post I want to say I found a source for the
liitle screws that hold on the lower brass plate on my firewall.  the
srews are actually 3/8" #4s.  I found them at West Marine hardware store
in stainless with a phillips pan head, .05 each.
