It is a common legend that Mallory makes a distributor for TR6. They do
list one, but it is the standard 6 cylinder unit. It has NO tach drive. I
have had discussions with them and they can supply a gear drive, but it has
a 1:1 ratio and TR6 does not. So it will not work. If someone wanted to
convert to electric tach, there is no problem with the standard 6 cylinder
distributor.
