Do you mean quicker and easier than the book method ?  I'm not sure there is
such a thing.

Book method is to measure the current draw, and adjust the points until the
current is 8 amps per horn (with the battery voltage at 'nominal', which I
assume means 12.6 volts).  You may need an old fashioned ammeter for this
(or a true RMS DVM), as a regular DVM may not give a steady reading.
