I used to have a 1973 GT6 Mk3. It came stock with a Delco-Remy distributor
with vac retard.

Is your distributor vac unit, vac advance? or vac retard?
(adv has the vac pipe on the side of the pot away from
the dist body, while retard as the pipe nipple on the
dist body side of the vac pot.)
I'm trying to figure out if I've been dpo'ed. My current D204
dist has vac adv. but no tap on the carbs for it.
