Message text written by Mark Hooper >On a boring subject can anybody tell me if it is possible to remove the A-type overdrive from a TR6 without completely removing the transmission? < No. Dave P.S. Sorry for the boring response. P.P.S. since the overdrive slides onto the mainshaft you would have to be able to move the overdrive unit straight back o good 8 or 9 inches (20 to 30 mm) and there just isn't room for that insitu.
