Listers. Now that the winter has arrived in Northeastern Ohio it's time to do
some of those jobs on the list of things to do. I'm going to convert the
Braking System on my TR4 A from the original single master cylinder system to
the dual master cylinder system of the TR 6. I'm not concerned about the
originality thing and think the additional piece of mind offered by a dual
system makes sense from a safety point of view and since it's time to do the
system again anyway why not upgrade it at the same time. Apart from the
obvious changes needed to the pedals, the mounting brackets installation and
clutch master cylinder changes does anybody have any "been there done that"
experiences to offer? I do plan on using the power assist and piping the
vacuum from the intake manifold PCV port as that was changed to a free
breathing system years ago and is currently plugged. Apart from that the
question then becomes do I need to install the dreaded ???? valve or just
plumb the connections directly to front and back. Will removing the valve from
the system do anything to the safety features of the system other than to
remove a failure light trigger?

Any "Been There Done That" experiences to share?
