Well...I've found another one! (on the late MKIII GT6)
I'm currently swapping out the older style
column (keyswitch way down by your shin)
for the later style 1500 column (key in the pod
horn on stalk end etc) just like I did in my '75 Spitfire.
The wiring to the ignition switch in the GT6 IS NOT like
the schematic in the owners manual, let alone any of the
shop manuals.
So I guess I get to start from scratch again...ohming
everything out to find what goes where.
Thank goodness I document the heck out of stuff.
At least I have all the documentation from when I did this
to the '75 Spit to use as a reference as well.
