Triumpheresquerati:

My 72 TR6 is getting some long awaited attention.

Months ago, what began as a fluttering sound, dependent on wheel speed,
eventually became a *ka-chunking* sound one day when I pulled away from
a light.

Inspecting the car on jackstands, it *appears* that I've got ground-up
rear axle bearings inside the hub.

If there's a section about what do about dead rear axle bearings, I
can't find it; and this is obviously a different configuration from my
GT6.

Tell me -- once I undo the four nuts holding the left u-joint to the
diff, then what??

Ponderously,

Martin Secrest
