> Well, its a beautiful day, so I'm putting in seat belts come hell or high
water. It seems there's no clear best solution, since few of you seem to
have belts in the back. I figure what may be too close for adults, would
work just fine for 4 & 7 year-olds.

I have put seat belts in the back of the TR4. Just the regular Pep Boys
stuff, which match the ones the PO put in the front anyway.

The center ones tie together on one mount, at the peak of the diff bump.
Made sure the bolt was just long enough to completely clear the Nyloc nut so
that there was more clearance for diff travel. The outboard ones really
required the removal of the snaps for the top-stick-cover vinyl.

All of the mounts needed to turn to the rear to properly clear the seat
cushion. This is OK, just be sure to thread the belts so the working end
comes out the slot closest to the bolt.

My six-year-old grandson fits just fine.
